Sounds wonderful, Peter! Love the descriptions. I travelled to Bern, Switzerland from France for one day back in 1987 in search of Mozartkugeln, a delicious combination of chocolate and marzipan, back in the days before Amazon brought them to me. I remember the Swiss as being particularly agreeable, nodding yah to everything we said, and that I had the best sleep of my life (it hasn’t been topped yet) on a slatted wooden bed as hard concrete topped by the softest feather filled duvet. It didn’t hurt that I had consumed a large amount of chocolate and cheese beforehand. By the way, that video makes it seem like you are standing in the middle of the road. Were you?

Yes, middle of the road. It's a bus stop tho, with an island for waiting passengers. I think the good night's sleep might also be linked to the mountain air. Anyway, I'm hoping to come back to see more of Switzerland sometime in the next eight months. And more of Geneva, for sure. I only got to ONE museum!!!
