A lazy Sunday morning
A short video to introduce you to my latest hangout, the medieval city of Montpellier, just 12 km from the Mediterranean.
I don’t think any of us are in the mood to ruminate too much on this lazy Sunday morning, so I have prepared this quick little video to showcase the historic part of Montpellier, known as l’Écusson, where I am staying for the next week. Four tramway lines add an ultramodern touch to the city, founded in AD 985, so I have done a little video mash-up of old and new.
Fun fact: Montpellier currently has just over 300,000 residents, 70,000 of whom are post-secondary students. More than 40% of the population is under 30.
So here we go! See you in a few days with something more substantive.
